Learn 28 Names of Allah this Ramadan

Ramadan is only few days away, how close! May Allah the Most High allow us to see and benefit from this blessed month.

Ramadan is a time to gain Taqwa and reconnect with the book of Allah. It is time to get closer to Allah and seek his forgiveness.

"The month of Ramadan (is the month) in which the Qur’an has been sent down as guidance for mankind containing clear signs which lead (to the straight road) and distinguishing (the truth from falsehood).."

(Q 2:185)

Oh you who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that you may learn piety and righteousness"

(Q 2:183)

This Ramadan I am inviting you to join us to learn and study 28 names of Allah. Each day you will aim to learn 1 name of Allah with your children, then encourage them to use that name when they're making dua.

I've created a set of cards with the Beautiful Names and Attributes of Allah using the 'Explanation to the Beautiful and Perfect Names of Allah'. The cards have the name of Allah with brief explanation.

Before beginning to study the names of Allah it would be wise to read the introduction of the book so to have some understanding about the general principles with regards the names of Allah The Mighty.

How to utilise these cards;

1 – Have one name of Allah each day, read the card together, speak about it using the 'Explanation to the Beautiful and Perfect Names of Allah' (free pdf).

2 – Each day include simple art and crafts for younger children and older children could write about what they've learn from this name of Allah.

3 - Print double for each card and play memory game!

4 - Put each card in an envelope with a blank white paper. The children will look forward to opening one envelope for each day of Ramadan and the blank white paper is for them to draw what they've learnt.

*I advise you to laminate the cards so they can last much longer.

I really hope these cards benefit you and your children. Please share how you utilise them too. May Allah The Most Merciful Bless your Ramadan!

Without taking anymore time from you, feel free to download the cards on HERE
