I'm Hamida-Zee Um Aasiyah, a Muslim mum of three and a wife. I am a qualified child carer, and I have recently begun a pursuit to become an official child development researcher. Inshaa Allah (God Willing). My connection with childcare career began over 7 years ago, since then my experience in my career has been complimented by my personal experience with my younger family members and now, my own children.
During my early research, I became fascinated by the various methods and schools of thoughts in child development, particularity that of Montessori. Since learning about her method, I have begun to develop my own curriculum and syllabus for my children mainly based on her method and this is included in my website.
I have also incorporated these methods into my tutoring program that I run from my home and, I have seen great progress from them since starting. This adds to my need of inspiring you all to follow your passion in educating your children.
I shared my practices and some of what I believe are the best way to approach your homeschooling in the hope that you too can benefit immensely the way, I have benefited and applied it in my own home.
The purpose of this site is to support and inspire families who are considering homeschooling, who are already homeschooling and those parents who just want to be more involved with their child's education. Through heartfelt advice, inspirational activities, useful parenting tips, educational services and more.
Motherhood can be the most beautiful exciting thing; but as beautiful as motherhood can be, add homeschooling on top, it can be exhausting and challenging. Through my website, I hope to ease this challenge just a 'little', and I hope to inspire you to be the best parent and teacher you can be.
I love sharing materials that I make for my own children in our homeschool. I intend to reach out to a wider audience of homeschoolers in the hope that we can get a share in the happiness
